and have fun on this thread -- be warned, we often talk a LOT (as much as our roosters crow) and we kid and joke around

PS. Don't be surprised if you end up with an incubator anyway eventually.

They fall from the sky, it seems.

I'd still rather have a couple of good reliable broodies, although one of them has also fallen from the sky, it seems.

One thing about the wind blowing hard out of the north all day is that the widowmaker is down; the other is that I've got an earache. My goodnessgoshgollygee, fall has fallen with a vengeance, hasn't it?

Wind and gravity are a lot faster than glaciation.

Welcome back. So is this the name ya had before or are ya gonna reveal who ya was back then ???

This should be the name I had before or at least some variant of it. I've been using dearduckyducky as my internet name for years now.

UG, living on the coast I am NOT happy to see fall coming in with such a vengeance! It usually means cold and storms are going to be in top shape this year. I guess it's time to start the storm prep already. We had a pretty good blow a couple of days ago, noticed some branches that need to come down before they blow down. Cedar tree needs trimming. Gave up and turned the heat on earlier this week. Time to put the heat lamp back in the coop for the birds. Need to stock up on food, water, and other power outage supplies.
