I was planning on showing up early Saturday to coop in (before 8:30) and coop out Sunday, which involves us driving back here Sat night & back to Chehalis again Sunday AM.
IF I have birds in sale cages I may ask PLEASE someone that is there PLEASE keep watch that they are behaving, and have food & water???

I am washing the turkey today...I put down a thick bed of straw in his pen so he will be out of the mud (hopefully) and maybe, just maybe, he will stay somewhat clean.
I have another issue...he has drug his wingtips in the mud enough to rub of about 1/2" of feathers, leaving the bare shaft

I am planning on clipping the bare shaft off..........and hopefully that is OK, I am hoping it is acceptible as the Toms will drag their wings in strut...and he does !!!

Yes, coward... and a whole lot of crazy busy. Seems shows have fallen on the worst possible weeks this year- first was midterms, tests, projects due, and midterm evals,... this time it's all the final evals, some tests, assignments, etc. School first,.. birds later

Oh I do understand.............and washing a turkey is not easy!!!!!!!!
I am putting it off until the sun comes out.....and wish you the best on your terms!!!!!!!!

Anyone here showing birds that is cooping in & cooping out on Saturday?
I am under the impression we showing must coop out Sunday....just wondering.

Argh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I gotta go get a tub to put this girl in !!!!!!!!!

WHEN the house is done, THIS little barn will have holding cells in it for show birds, etc...but right now, they are crated & having a good old time rotovating all their shavings out all over the floors!!!
