I guess it shows I don't be knowing as much as I think I do about cast iron pans. Did not mean to give misguided information about the Lodge brand pans. It is all I have ever seen. My pa has a set he(older than me) that he has used for over 50 years (not sure who made them) but they are fabulous!

Do any of you sell your eggs from your farm ? Those that do, have you set up a stand-type area where the people come to get eggs and drop money in a can and take their eggs, or must they come to the house? We are thinking about setting something up in this manner, but I thought I would ask those more experienced.

Not to worry. I have heard a lot about the Lodge brand. I think its the one they use and advertise on that Cowboy cookout show on RFDTV. It's a very cool show. They make everything outside on an open fire with Cast iron cookware. They use the dutch oven the most. Yummy recipes.

This is not an anti government post but some of you may take it like it is.
We need a government such as what was drawn up by the constitution so know I agree with the constitution but not what I continue to see going on in forums on the net.
I'm not singling you out Remiria[sp].
This subject is about how I disagree with a lot of people in many forums when it comes to OUR PROPERTY.

Those of you whom lose chickens from predators you can do what you want but last thing I'd be doing is calling any government people to GET PERMISSION to PROTECT what is MINE!

Don't know about you all but I work to hard to even begin to think I need PERMISSION, let alone a permit to protect my property.

The only reason they keep taking more control is because we continue to act like they have the right to take what this country was founded on.

Until one stands up for what is THEIRS, keeping the government out of our right to feed our family we will continue to be under dictatorship which will only get worse if we keep going in this direction.

Yes Greg I have 2 things to add. For predetors SSS. And WE THE PEOPLE need to TAKE THIS COUNTRY BACK! !

We sell from the house and folks come to the door.
We also sell to several businesses, they call when they need eggs, we drop them off.

In the case of protecting my livestock & property, I do it, and tell no one.
I remember the poor guy last fall who had to shoot 2 bears that were ravaging his place & somehow word got out & the authorites arrested him & he has to spend some time in jail & pay a big fine??
Where was that at?

Or was it 1 bear ???
