Dad gave me 8 japanese lace leaf maple seedlings about 1 year old & 6-8" tall.
These are upright TALL maples, get about 12-15 feet tall & not a big spread.
Anyone want one I can bring a few to Monroe.
Great for Bonsai !
I also have 8 curly willows in 1 gal pots that are about 4-5 feet tall...need homes & can bring them to Monroe also.
I love to dry their branches for arrangements.

Still have the 40 pounds of assorted wine corks...can also bring those.

And, Dad dug up 2 Hazel Nuts from his yard, so I am going out & planting them, then I will have 3.

Told Ron B he needs a few for his squirrely girl friend.

Trying hard to get moving/keep moving today: spent way too much of yesterday lifting more than I should and my hips are killing me.
On the other hand, I haven't done a full-dose NSAID day since I stopped eating peanutbutter for breakfast and had my GI problems vanish, so here goes!

So do you think the GI problems were the Peanut Butter, or the NSAIDs ?
NSAIDs are notorious for causing GI problems.
I have been having horrible GI issues last week or so & no idea what it is....I am sick & tired of being sick & tired !

Is it tomatoes ?
Cheese ?

Every week it seems a new food is causing the pain & bloating...sometimes within minutes of eating.
Sometimes I wonder (20-50 X a day) if a persona can have Celiac Disease AND Chrones or UC or ???
maybe just IBS ?
More likely Irritable Body Syndrom

SORRY!, I haven't forgotten. Just being really lazy this year. Really really lazy. I did not thin out the rasperries this year so I have some strong canes ready to be dug. Spent the last couple days cleaning up the yard. If it stops raining I'll get them dug this week.

I think the peanutbutter was making everything else much worse. The fact that the day I spent doubled over in pain and puking started with bolting my breakfast and then since I was too sick for the stuff the next day I wasn't sick, and then ate peanutbutter and was increasingly ill for a few more days until I had leftover pumpkin pie, and then ate breakfast out, and wasn't sick, and haven't eaten the stuff since and have been increasingly fine... even Metformin, which was a problem long before the peanutbutter, isn't making me have stomach cramps.

And I took two Ibuprophen when I put up that post and have had no negative gastric stuff, so I think whatever was hurt is healing. I have taken Aspirin at bedtime every night which was never a problem, but not anything during the day. Today I have to, I hurt too much otherwise. I think it was walking on ice all last week, over-stressed my joints keeping my weight straight over them so I didn't fall.

My day is off to an extremely late start, but with good reason.
The mean rooster is gone! Friends of mine came by this morning to pick him up. As usual, Rocky was guarding the coop door growling, but my friend's a chicken whisperer, went in there in shorts with no gloves, and got him out fairly easily.
My friend said that Rocky is actually a pretty nice cockerel (didn't try to hurt my friend at all), and he's just being alpha. But in my world, since he's the size of a turkey in an 8x10 coop with 11 other chickens (including 2 other cockerels) that makes him too dangerous. I still have the bruises! My friend also said he's a beautiful boy. I think so, too - here he is, in all his malevolence:

My friend is taking Rocky to his friend's farm, where there are 30 free-range hens looking for a boy. And here I thought Rocky was going to be their Sunday night dinner! It sounds as though Rocky will be a lot happier and he might settle down with more space and more ladies. I hope so. I can only tell you that the coop was incredibly calm and relaxed after he left, and I got to hang out with the girls without worrying whether I was going to get flogged

They are red....really nice.
Not the low spreading type, but I suppose one could prune/train them to be a low spreader.
I will bring you a couple/3 maples...no curly willows ?
I am making pancakes, GF usually turn out like rubbery frisbees LOL but good all the same.

Then I can sit & count all these seeds !

He is a pretty boy, and very light in color too, more silver/blue barring than my Cuckoo Marans.
