Dang you guys! Now I want a mini cow! lucky for me the highlanders are small...

My dad's family are dairy farmers and they always had Jersey's

Love the mini Jersey's!

one day I will have a farm... one day I will have a farm.... ONE DAY!

Really? The Highland cattle are small? My neighbors must have some VERY large stock then, cause when Lambert got out and was in my driveway he was HUGE! lol Very gentile, but very HUGE! lol Lambert is my neighbors Highland bull. Even the 2 year old they have is big, so is the cow.

I love me some Whooly, Scottish Highland cattle!

maybe there are minis too?

Okay I have sent out group PM's. When replying you may want to send a PM as a new one, because a reply will go to every one of the recipients of the original PM. For any one I have forgotten to add to the PM's please forgive me. As for the rest Go to PayPal.com/send money/personal/gift. This keeps from any party paying fees.

????? I'm sorry - I must not have received any of the original message. I'm completely in the dark here... Is this something I should know about?

and 26 clear eggs...

So sorry RW... I am hearing so many horror stories about bad hatches from shipped eggs, non shipped eggs, doesn't seem to matter. I don't know what is going on! Is it the time of the year? Fluctuating weather creating unstable environments? Monstrous handling of boxes through shipping companies? It makes me a little nervous. I don't have any plans to start incubating until late April, but then I'm hatching Seramas and knowing they can be somewhat iffy makes me apprehensive. Gosh darn - hope everyone's luck turns around soon and folks start having more productive hatches.

That's what we're planning to get--a small herd. :)

I figured, "What the heck!" and gave Ginger the eggs I'd been saving to put on Craigslist. I'll give her a chance. I think I've made her very happy. If it works, I'll sell chicks instead of eggs. if it doesn't, I'll know not to let her do it again.

Who's looking for leg bands? What size do you need? I just ordered 50 and I'm sure I could spare a few....

I was looking

I was hoping somebody here could tell me. I have RIR,BR. Austra whites and Australorps I'm going to try and use colored ties

I jumped the gun. Ginger is not broody. I gave her a bunch of Spitz eggs and a bunch of Brabanter eggs. Now, I don't know which ones are which. I can't sell them on craigslist. I either have to eat them, sell them as eating eggs, or borrow an incubator from someone. Does anyone not too far away have an incubator they could lend me? Please.
