We’re offering a rare chance to get into the kitchen at Serious Pie Downtown!
Pizza class at Serious Pie! The Pie is Serious but the class is all about learning and having fun!
Join Chef Audrey Spence as she opens her kitchen to customers who want to learn more about our pizza construction and ingredients (except for the dough recipe – that’s top secret!) Kick off your morning with coffee and one of Audrey’s favorite breakfast treats. Learn all about Pie’s specialty ingredients, including our favorite Italian cheeses and house-made meats that go into creating some of Seattle’s favorite pizzas.
Hands-on instruction includes preparing fine Italian ingredients including mixing house-made sausage with your choice of our seasonings and stretching and shaping Pie’s famous round of dough into your own unique Serious Pie. Then it’s up to the apple wood burning oven where you’ll observe the skill of baking and turning your own pies in order to achieve just the right crust! Class ends with a delicious lunch of pizza and a wine tasting of 4 Italian varietals.
Classes are limited to 12 people
Time: Saturday classes are held from 9-11am and weekday classes from 9:30-11:30am
