Water during free ranging???

I have lots of water buckets for all the animals. One under the front porch (it gets hot though), on the side of the house (always shady), under the back porch and in the coop. Plus a small pan under the a/c drip that produces actual COLD water all day long.

My dog always acts like she's dying of thirst when we let her inside - but I guess she just holds out for the a/c temp water. As they say, you can lead a horse to water but ya can't make him drink. I make sure the buckets are full and there is at least one that is shady ALL day long (the others are shaded part/most of the day) so if they don't drink, it's not my fault.

Just did the major bleaching, soaping, cleaning up of all waterers....we are having major dog days here and have been for some time, so the waterers get bad sooner.

I left just a little residue from the cleaning in the containers when I refilled....a drop or two of bleach and soap isn't going to hurt the animals and may keep the water a little fresher. Next refill will get some UP/ACV in the water just to keep everyone's electrolytes good in this heat.

I know a fella that intentionally puts bleach in his watering tanks for his horses and sheep as a dewormer.
