what do you use to water your quail? I'm having a hard time finding a waterer my quail will not kill each other in.

Quail Fonts..... Tsc Carries Them As Does Many Feed Stores. They Look Similar To Regular Water Fonts But The Trough Is Only A 1/2 Or So Wide So It Is Difficult For The Lil Boogers To Get In There And Get Wet.

What about nipple waterers? I thought that I had seen some people using them for quail in the past, anyone have any luck with them?

I use water bottles...like the ones a rabbit or hamster would use.

wow! water bottles would be so great! I need to try those. My quail are part duck by how much they splash out their water!

I use a dish about 8' round and an inch or so deep and I have stones in it. My quail love it. I catch them splashing water on themselves since it's so hot here in the desert. My finches use it to bathe in also even though they have their own. They like this one because it's on the ground I guess.

i just use one of those gallon plastic waterers with the red bottoms. they are set upon 2 bricks and its just at the height of the quail's heads so they dont spill any nor drown. they also dont kick any bedding in so the water is kept extremely clean. i dont have to replace it very often. but now it being so hot i replace it everyday...
