wats a frost bite?

    On chickens, it happens most often on the tips of large combs or wattles. It can also happen to their feet.

    Frostbite for a chicken is the same thing as frostbite in anything else....it is when a part of their body gets so cold/freezes that it kills tissue. It can easily cause an infection that can be deadly. Do you think some of your chickens are suffering from frostbite? You can post pics and there will be plenty of people willing to help you figure it out.
