Glor just wanted to update u..the 2 goose eggs have now gotten a thumb size hole in the eggs n r making noise ever so often.this is soooo exciting I just want to cry.

Congrats! ), They are adorable. How many geese eggs did you put in? Fingers still crossed for you.

Glor we put 3 in n so far 2 sucesses.lol.
Discovered a baby goose this morning in the pasture that our geese has been sitting on 22 eggs,so more in there or too come.love it!

That must have been a suprise ), that's good 2 out of three, I am heading to WV for 2 weeks, my daughter will be tending my eggs while I'm gone and my turkeys should be hatching when I get back. So I will be looking for your posts when in get bak. Good luck ;@)

Glor I wad thrilled especially with chicken n duck egg failure.Now excited peachicks due any day next 4 days to just read that peacock eggs have to incubate on their side not pointy end dwn,so now im heartbroken that I possibly killed my peachicks.sniff,sniff

Hi Angelak, I got back from WV Sunday and have been thinking of you and your new flock, how did things turn out with peacock eggs? I hatch all my eggs on their sides. My turkeys are due to hatch today, I hear peeps going on in there but no break threw yet, not sure how many to expect but I know quite a few weren't fertile and Murray McMurray don't guarantee fertile eggs hhhumph. Last week my daughter got my guinea hen keets from the grain & farm store they are so cute I got eight of those they make such a racket (noise) when they are full grown but it is worth it, my chicks grew so much in 2 weeks they have all their feathers now lol out of the eight chicks I want to say I got 3 roosters going to give my little nephew a rooster and a hen 1 of them is real friendly and like to be held he will get a kick out of her lol. Look forward to hearing about your progress.

Glor,good to hear your good news,u will love the guineas bc I love the free bug/tick yard.They really make great alarm systems,n only get loud when startled.I tried to candle my peacock n duck eggs last night only day 4 tho,n looked to me I have fertile eggs in all,but will candle thursday,b4 I go to work fri.n that will b day 6 so hoping I get better results n know 90% they are fertile n growing....but excitingly our peacocks laid an egg yesterday...so going into incubator tonight....i will update u on progress in fri.
Humidity has been challenging fir the peacock eggs but reading read 27%-50% is good so we holding around 42%mostly,hope we r on right track....
