WE GOT EGGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've just 1 out of my 3 laying but today was equivalent to 3 lol. Never heard the egg song as when I let them out between 6 and 7 am she's already laid. I'm sure there must have been some noise parting with todays

I think that may be the equivalent of a 10lb baby! lol

When i let my girls out this morning i thought the 2 non layers were acting differently to there normal self. So went up to check on them after lunch and discovered Bubbles is no longer the only layer both myrtle and buttercup gave me their first egg . I was very eggsited

Congrats on getting your 1st eggs! The eggs do get a little bigger as the girls hit their stride so seems to me all is well. We have 3 Red Sex Links in our mixed flock (another name for your Warren) and they are wonderful layers of big brown eggs, they rarely miss a day. Love them!

I have 10 Red Sek links and get 10 extra large dark brown eggs everyday, my other hens are hit and miss, not the sex links, and about every seven to nine days, one lays a double size egg, i mean super big and always double yolk. They are prolific layers, planning on adding 20 more in the spring so all my customers can get the big brown eggs, we get 15/16 dz a week and barely have eggs for the house, just miss fits and a cracked one here and there. Right on time, nine days today and look what we got

Every first egg is special, i have 80+ of different breeds and every new layer seems like Christmas

Both of my hens decided to start laying today. I got so excited I dropped the first egg. I t was perfect too.

I got my first one last Saturday and I dropped it as well. Made me very sad, but my dog was VERY happy she got an afternoon sack.

Question about the above picture. Is it possible for one bird to lay both of those eggs? I know my Lt. Brahma laid the smaller one, i watched it happen. I also have a 17 wk old Buff Orpington who haha gotten very red in the face as of late. Thanks uncle advance for all the help.
