I got my first one last Saturday and I dropped it as well. Made me very sad, but my dog was VERY happy she got an afternoon sack.

It is highly unlikely that the same hen laid both, it isn't impossible, but not likely at all , i would have to say the 2nd egg is from the other hen, several of my hens started between 16 and 18 weeks, some a little longer, but none over 21 weeks, congratulations, you have a new layer, the egg production takes from 26 to 28 hours to come full circle, then counting the temprature and the amount of daylight this time of year, all point to the not favoable side of both being laid in the same day, but strange things happen all the timeQuestion about the above picture. Is it possible for one bird to lay both of those eggs? I know my Lt. Brahma laid the smaller one, i watched it happen. I also have a 17 wk old Buff Orpington who haha gotten very red in the face as of late. Thanks uncle advance for all the help.
