One would think a snake would steal your eggs verse lay in there with them. I’m thinking one of your girls laid it. We have actually got quite a few smaller eggs ourselves. Not quite that small though. When they first start lying especially first time ever they can be smaller and will gain size. It could have even been a freak thing if she normally lays regular sized eggs she could have been low on calcium or just not eaten enough recently. Try giving them crushed egg shells more often but if they are already low on calcium eating their own eggs won’t help much so I would look into buying oyster shells
