We need Help!!!

were they infested with lice, or mites? Some bugs will hide in the coop, could still be a possibility. What did you treat the flock with? If you see one, they all have it, no if's and's or but's .

I just treated mine, even though i only saw one louse after an hour of checking my flock; they move quickly and by the time you actually SEE the bugs it's REALLY bad! If it was bad enough to kill your bantams, then it was really bad. The bug's breeding cycles is really short, so they repopulate really quick! Follow the dosing instructions, usually it's every week-two weeks, do this until you are absolutely certain they are all gone. All the birds will need treated.

If this is what is happening to your bird, she is anemic from losing too much blood. Liver would help, if you could get it down; if nothing else make a mash with her food, and get it and some liquids down. Keep trying, once an hour until she tries on her own. A sick bird will eat sometimes, but not enough to get their strength up, you must push and encourage her as best you can or she will go downhill quickly.

I have a link that shows up under my posts, it is a page i have made that has a lot of disease/ diagnosing helps in it.

Sometimes i am not able to help someone directly, but this way you can look at things too and maybe find something there that will be useful, scroll down to the "disease and diagnosing" part; there are links to look up disease by name, and some links that help a little to figure things out, then there are medicine dosing charts for once you figure out what is going on.

This is what i have for lice and mites and worms:

GAPEWORM - to check to be sure they have it, hold them in your lap, and take a Q-tip - open their mouth, then gently and slowly push the q-tip back into the back of their mouth, whle rotating it. Do the same when bringing it back out. If they have gapes, you'll see them on the q-tip (they are very small/thin and appear to have TWO heads).
