Hi! So we have had chickens from probably about four years now. We've lost some due to "critters", over time and replaced them, and we have also had two different roosters. (never more than one at the same time). We have had some chickens that tried to hatch eggs, but nothing has ever come of them. I can't believe that in four years, we have never had even one chick. I had a thought though. We do keep them together with our ducks. We have always had Pekins. They all get along, but Pekins are generally loud and always making noise. Could this be why we never get chicks? Could it be too stressful? Other thoughts as to why this could be happening? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I keep my chickens in with ducks, geese, and emus and it does not affect fertility. Have you cracked some eggs open to confirm if they are actually fertile?
