We Quit Cigarettes

I have a question. How on earth do you fill a metal chick feeder?

I am kinda freaking out. There are things I don't know!!! :he

Got a note from sister in Santa Clara. She and hubby are doing okay..she still has no fever. They are missing seeing the grandchildren for now. The six counties in the Bay Area are on lockdown with limited reasons for leaving home for the next several weeks. Her hubby is a biochemist in genomic research. He was allowed to go to work, but decided he could work from home with his computer Skype.

You can slide the top off, fill the feeder and then slide or pop the top back on or you can do like lazy old me and just pour the feed in through the holes.

I have that type of feeder sitting on a flat board so that the youngsters can easily clean up any spilled feed.

Closed school for a whole month more now.
On line school for Mini's grade level?

I slept to much last night, I can't sleep tonight. I don't want to have to take Benadryl every night to sleep.
Our pharmacist told us Benadryl is the exact same stuff as Tylenol PM. Same label ingredients.

No beans, rice, flour, sugar or salt over here.
I was just able to get onions but not the bell peppers I need for my dinner.

I'll try again later.
What about dehydrated peppers? I know not the same, but in a pinch, rehydrated have the similar flavor.

Bananas can be picked green and placed in a closed bag to hasten ripening. All bananas sold in stores are harvested green.
True, once developed. The cold weather stopped these from developing. I was watching close. Waiting to see if the first bunch finishes developing. The second bunch that was just getting started has shriveled up and turned black. I don't think they will develop. The green bunch may.

:he I had to leave the Corona virus thread. I know better than to deal with abrasive people. Dad, long ago, warned me about wrestling with pigs.
What other quaint sayings did your Dad have?
One of Mom's favorites was "There are people in hell wanting ice water. They aren't getting it either." At that point, the discussion was over.

I've already put on a crock pot of chili for lunch, fed all the critters, set a new tray of eggs (74), moved a tray to the hatcher (53) due on Friday, darned hubby's socks, prepped the bills for the post office, transplanted lettuce in the garden, folded a load of laundry, caught up here and email....guess I'll go pack up the shelves in the bathroom for the move to the rent house.

It has been drizzling here for the past three days...cold and wet, no soggy as h**l!
Cows are calving anyway already have 8 on the ground.

My flowerbeds are gorgeous with daffodils, narcissis, crocus and hyacinths up and the redbuds are beginning to pop buds.
Lots to be grateful for...

AND my BYC friends are sticking with the winners in quitting!
