Woke up to another two inches of heavy wet snow. I'm so over winter. OTOH, we're not grounded, in an apartment, in some city. We can literally walk miles in most directions without seeing anyone.

A better game is you run from the dog, clapping your hands and laughing. Let him chase you. You have a much better chance of catching him if he is running TOWARD you! Even better if you fall or sit down when he catches you, so he climbs on you. That puts him close enough to get hold of his collar. Of course you have his leash over your shoulder so you can hook him up ....

Oh, I've tried all of those. They work once, then he knows not to fall for the trick again.

What a nightmare I broke my phone and cut our internet cable this week. It’s been sort of nice but also a nightmare.

getting back on line and catching up. I’m doing well, still not 100% with smoking if I’m honest but I’m winning tbe battle it’s just slower than I expected.

I only got 1 3/4" overnight after having gotten the first measurable rainfall shortly before midnight.
