your right in that your "not getting a whole lot"....the lungs tend to hold onto a lot of stuff and as such, it takes quite a while for all the vapor/odor/particulate matter from being exhailed from the lungs.I don't know why any part of that would offend/bother me or anyone else.

My lungs are probably already screwed anyway. My mom always smoked. Most of My family members did too.

I've always been around 2nd hand smoke.
I Don't think I'm getting a whole lot of 2nd hand nicotine high from the hubby because we smoke outside.
I think it's more boredom when I'm alone and run out of stuff to do.
case in point reference. When I used to drive OTR ad a driver-trainer I ended up getting Carbon Monoxide poisoning twice. Both times I was on 100% oxygen for over 8 hours. Thats how long it takes to get fully purged of the CO particals in the lungs. Smoke is similar but, not quite as long. IIRC it was more than half that length of time, i think.....
