Any advice would be welcome. I nursed her back to health for about 3 weeks from not being able to walk on both legs to walking fine and then suddenly a week or so later her right leg is weak again and she limps on it but not all the time it seems to be on and off. She also pants while the the other ducks are not. I know it's been super hot lately and she has been panting even before. I gave her Tylan 50 every other day for 5 days thinking she had an respiratory infection along with nutritional yeast and she did better over the next few weeks. She is active and running around getting into the pool and seems normal except for the heavy panting and limp. She had been laying eggs too. I keep wondering if it's her lungs. She has one blind eye and so she has always walked a little bit on the wobbly side but this is for sure a limp. She has no bumbles and her legs look good. I'm not sure what to do for her at this point. We've had so much rain and it's always wet but they have a large area that is covered away from the rain if they need shelter but you know how ducks are. I am worried about her.

Do you still give her nutritional yeast? I would keep that up 1 Tab per cup of feed. Could be a severe sprain and they take a long time to heal. Rest and water therapy are 2 good ways of recovering. Make sure she can get in and out of the pool with out having to jump.

Yes I have been mixing the yeast in with the feed. I have 15 ducks so I do a large batch of food. I have also been chopping up greens and adding the yeast into that for them too. She was walking around and stepped on a rock and her leg went out, so maybe it is a sprain but why does she pant like that when the others are all fine? She can get in and out of the pool really good. Right now it's raining and she's running around.

I really don't know about the panting unless she is just hot they pant when hot they haven't sweat glands. Try and keep her from over doing resting and water therapy good diet and Yeast are all important now for recovery. How did she go blind in her eye?

I've been giving them lots of good stuff to eat and hoping she will recover. She hatched with a bad eye which was infected and I used Colloidal Silver 5 times or so a day and she healed up nicely... has done well with her one eye. She's two now.

If she is 2 and done well maybe what your seeing is just her. They way she is with the panting. I have an EE hen who is over 5 and when the temps get hot and humidity is up she breathes heavy and actually makes noise. But the last few days humidity has been low as well as temps and she is doing great. Sounds like your girl is well cared for.
