weed feeding

Does anyone know if feeding henbit weed is alright to feed to the chickens?? My yard is overrun with it and I'm trying for feed them as many greens as possible during the winter months. I also have dead nettles that I feed them, but I don't have that much of them. The girls really like them tho'.
