Hi one of my chicks is pooping dark brown liquid for the past couple of days. I attached a picture. Is this diarrhea? Worried any suggestions?

Here is a picture. Very dark brown watery poop. Should I be worried? Chick is eating, drinking and acting normal.

To me it looks like a normal poop.

Chickens have 2 types of poop. One is "normal" this is firm(ish) and formed with a white cap (urates). The other one is "cecal" poop - this is a loose, stinky, sticky, pudding-like poop that comes in varying shades of brown to almost black (depends on diet). A chicken will have 1 cecal poop to every 8-10 normal poops.

If your chick is eating/drinking with gusto, active, shows no signs of lethargy or distress and it's vent is clear (no pasting). I would not worry.
