Weird design on egg?

I was in my chicken coop today and I was surprised to find a very odd design on one of the eggs! I’m not sure if it’s just a fluke or something else caused it. If you think you know, please tell me!

It's a cracked shell, I would put it at the front of the line to get eaten, or feed it back to your chickens.

Here is an egg that I was trying to hatch that had a similar mark on it. You can see the crack clearly when the egg is candled.

Looks like a hairline crack.

Cracked egg. Do you have some sort of bedding in your nest boxes? Hay, sawdust, wood chips, carpet? My birds tend to kick it all out, or scratch a area in the middle bare. Yrs ago I walked into one hen actually laying a egg, thump, she didn't sit down, crapped it out standing up in the nest box. No wonder I was getting some cracked eggs Lol! I pay a little more attention to making sure they have bedding in the nests now.
