Weird duck behaviour

I really don't know. How do they look/act? If I know that it could help me estimate. I really have no idea tho cuz thinking: wild ducks live of of things other then feed, but they don't live off of treats. They live off of grass, fish, there own eggs...etc. What kind did you say they were? If they were meant as wild ducks you could feed them(maybe) like wild ducks, but if they are domestic then they need the feed to help them grow. I really need someone else here to help me out with this one!!!
They’re domestic!! And I don’t know where to get feed Ive looked everywhere. Thank u so much for the information though❤️

Try searching for a "feed and seed" store or see if you have a local Tractor Supply. You don't need duck food specifically, chicken feed (pellet form) will do.
I'm not expert, but if your ducks free range and get plenty of bugs, crickets, and grass, they will be better off than subsisting solely on peas and corn. You could even go to PetSmart or Petco and by a bunch of crickets or minnows (super cheap). We bought a bunch of minnows and dumped them in a tub outside so they can breed

What type of animal stores do you have near you in Australia?

I would not feed my ducks solely peas and corn. The peas are pretty good for them but corn and bread is like giving them potato chips and McDonalds everyday. I can’t say how many years they would live. But I doubt you would get a hen to produce eggs with that diet. The protein is too low. Along with other deficiencies. They will in general be in poor health. It might not be as evident now since they are young.

Are you feeding them peas and corn because that’s standard for Australia or is it an economical reason? :)

What type of pet stores do you have available or even a livestock feed store?

If I continue to feed them peas and corn twice a day each for the rest of their life how long do you think they’ll live

Think of it this way. How long would someone live eating a Big Mac and fries every day? Do you think they would feel healthy? It's not only about how they look. It's about meeting nutritional needs. You want them to thrive.

I have three ducks, they have feed available at all times. For treats they get peas, grapes, blueberries, raisins(today for the first time), tuna(today for the first time), kale dandelion greens and lots of weeds. On occasion they get dried meal worms.

If you can’t find feed, a variety of produce and grains would work. Oats, Wheat, Peas, and such. I actually have a book somewhere that outlines how to make your own feed with ingredients that are fairly easy to find.
