WEIRD FEET

I recently bought a new chicken and I noticed it’s feet look scaly. The chicken has was in the coop isolated in a cage. Why do I need to do to feel the new chicken and protect my other chickens.

That looks like scaly leg mites. I would keep it isolated and start treating it.

What’s the best way to treat and prevent?

I think you can coat the legs in petroleum jelly, or I’ve even heard of using ivermectin. I’ve never had to deal with this yet.
