We had an EE lay a bluish egg with white specks all over it today. The pictures don't really show it well, but it was pretty speckled:)

Got this bloody one today....looks to be a fairly large piece of tissue got passed with the ovum....from a 2 1/2 yo hen.

At school my best friend and I are kind of know for being the crazy chicken girls! I collect odd and all my hens first eggs if I can. Here's some of my collection.

Some of them are what are called "fart eggs" or "wind eggs". Everyone who raises chickens will get them every once in awhile. Many times if you break them open there won't be a yolk.






This one had a tiny yolk in it.
