I cracked this into a pan for breakfast this morning. It looked like chicken poop. I had this happen once before maybe 9 months ago. It didn't smell like a rotten egg but did smell like poop. It was disgusting. Anyone else experience this before?

Whoa! That is odd.... What was the age and storage of that egg? Wondering if it was an old egg that froze and thawed on the counter....

Was there anything 'normal inside that?
Looks to be bacterial...and abnormal ova.
Ever had another?
Could be a fluke, or hen has serious infection or fistula.

Check out this Siamese twin yolk. There were only three eggs cracked into this bowl. The bottom two yolks came out of the same egg and were fused together. Convenient because the recipie i was making called for an extra yolk. Saved me a whole egg, which are few and far between right now because most of my gals haven't resumed laying after the molt

Second yolk whole and contained but attached to first??.....or first yolk punctured and oozing out?

From my mons hen. A normal looking white egg (she does not have a white layer) with an extra membrane, more albumin contained by yet another membrane. So weird. This came from a 3 yer old easter egger who normaly lays a jumbo mint egg

Shelled egg inside another thin shelled egg.
The membrane on the 'white' egg could probably be peeled off (much easier when fresh and wet) to show the blue shell underneath membrane.

Yeah we did peel it off. It was just a membrane wraped tightly aroubd the shell. The shell was white for sure. No idea what happened there. Inside the white shell everything looked normal
