Weird stuff on my egg

While collecting eggs, I found this egg that has a weird abundance of bug egg(?) looking stuff on it. The egg was rotten anyways so I didn’t mind throwing it away but it was pretty gross. Just out of curiosity, anyone know what it is? Image below (it’s kinda nasty)

Another question, why were you collecting eggs and getting rotten eggs? How often do you collect your eggs?

definitely agree with Weeg on this one. i’m not an expert by any means, but from what i can tell (and after googling) these look like fly eggs to me.

This was a hidden nest one of my ducks made without me knowing so most of the eggs in it were old and that one was presumably rotten. I collect eggs maybe twice a week depending on how much they have laid. when I pushed away the eggs with a stick there was no holes underneath so whatever bug it was had laid eggs on top of the shell

I would collect eggs daily.
