Weird things only poultry people get.

As pretty and common as names like Katrina or Casey are, I rather like more unusual ones, such as Gail or Monica.
Lily, Catherine, Ann, Holly....
Well, with that random bit of randomness, who else has twenty or more birds and has named all of them? And can tell them apart?
I have... three guineas, five roosters, thirteen hens, and two small pullet chicks. All are named.
What do you guys think -- have I lost it? In my mind, I never had "it" to begin with.

I have 44 chickens 8ducks 5turkies and they all have names and I can tell them all apart

One of my own sisters was quite insistent that “all chickens are hens, roosters are not(!) chickens”.
I decided not to argue with her, and several days later she sheepishly corrected herself.

Omg i had a guy at my little brother's house ask me if we get a lot of eggs ok normal question right then he asks me if the eggs that come from the ones that go eraer (crow) taste different than the ones that just go bawk bawk my brother started to roll laughing i literally had to explain the difference between a rooster and a hen to this guy he is a friend of my sister-in-law

Gawd I feel sane now...if BIG BROTHER is ever able to listen to me in the chicken run I'd be locked away...I call them all by name, ask them how they slept, are you going lay me an egg today, what kind of treats would you like today....Don't Even say NOOOOO one else does that.

I'm an a-hole. Woulda explained roosters are boys and hens are girls. Then asked if he likes the milk from a boy or the milk from a girl.

I spend the entire time collecting eggs thanking the girls for the pretty little eggs all their hard work. And any crows I hear while collecting is answered with "I don't want to hear it you didn't lay no eggs" I call them my fluffy Butt mob when I go out to pet em up and while I don't have names for all yet many many of them do and are specifically greeted as seen. Almost all my Bantams have names and are talked to much the same as the Mob while putting them up. Plus I usually sit and socialize with my bantie babies for a while over scratch and cold drink. They get the scratch I have the cold beverage. I carry on lengthy conversations with them they do answer me I swear it and I understand them pretty well I think. Of course it's pretty easy when all they really want is Scraaaatch.

I like eating outside, but my birds are always trying to steal my meal! And they'll drink from my cup while I'm defending the food!
Especially Poppy -- she's a nervous one, the poor thing, and I think that the others keep scaring her away from the feed.
Sweet girl, except for when she's tasting my limbs -- even then, she's just curious and hungry. I often bring her inside for special treats, so that the others can't scare her away and steal the food.

Easter peeps.
A black friend who lives nearby came to see my chickens and was surprised that they were all black. He declared to other friends that I wasn't prejudice because I had black chickens.

I must be in good shape too then in regard to not being prejudice. Out of my flock of 9 there are 8 that have black feathering in them. Three are black Orpingtons that have 90% because they are a lavender split mix. Then my three Swedish Flower hens have black in 80% of two of them, and I also have three Creme Legbars which have sections of black feathering on them as well. They look a great deal like quail or pheasants. I’m going to have to add some color to my flock next to round but that will be in colder weather not summer I don’t think. Too many flies.
