I also missed a couple of things from my order - Ihad wanted Welsummers - they didn't have them the week my order went out - I was a little bummed, but perhaps next year....................

definitely welcome to byc! Most of my flock is from IDEAL and they are all healthy and beautiful and we have had no problems at all with them save 3 chicks from the first order not making it after 3 days in the post. Nothing to do with Ideal just a slow delivery from the PO...still Ideal came to the party without any questions asked and gave me credit for the 3 chicks in the next order.

I am SOOOOOOOOo getting more! LOL

i just contacted Ideal to order some BO's. Now I am worried they will be debeaked. Anyone have this experience? I want day old chicks.

As long as you didn't order debeaking for your day olds, they shouldn't be debaked. It seems the debeaking problem is on started pullets as "trimming" is misunderstood....

I have purchased several leghorn pullets from Ideal Poultry. They have provided great service.
The emailed me when the chicks were shipped and they also marked the males. I am glad they are reading our comments and concerns.
