Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Wind is blowing something awful... The power flickered, man I hope it doesn't go out..I have eggs in the bator..:barnie
It's not very cold and can wrap them in a blanket. But that's my options..:idunno

What about baked potatoes or rocks in the fire? That's how we used to keep my iguana warm when the power would go out in WA.

I don’t know exactly what kind it is since the previous owners put it in. But it must be some high dollar stuff because nothing grows where that stuff is put down! So sure. Lol. Anytime you are in the Midwest stop by. We have plenty of room for company! You can come tell me all the things I’m doing wrong with my birds since I know practically nothing.:lau
The high dollar stuff is the only stuff to use...... It'll last. It is expensive but it saves a lot of time weeding for sure.
I used it in my garden..... The cheap stuff won't but last a season.... Maybe two

Good morning everyone!!! It’s a beautiful day here in the Midwest! I have a lot of things I want to do outside today.

Part of me has a dimmer view on the day. I was planning on going to my 8yr old cousins funeral today. She had an immune disease where her artery to her lungs were under really high pressure. She got a regular cold the other day which aggravated things. Her Mom was headed to Colorado to her specialist when she had a seizure and ruptured the artery. It makes me so sick when little babies are taken too early. But my son was brought back to me in the middle of the night sick. So now I can’t go. I am heartbroken for them. I guess I get to snuggle my children a little extra tight today and pray for them from a distance.

I got some cool news....
I was reunited with an old friend yesterday....
I was in the Air Force with him.
He lives the next town over.... Ran into him at fish fry last night.
Anyways..... His SIL and his daughter are my wife's bosses..... And I used to be his SIL baseball coach.
But all those years Mark and I never really crossed paths..... He went to work for the air port fueling aircraft and I became a mechanic.
...... But anyways her just retired too.... So he has time to go fishing!!!!!!! We are going to Munising on Tuesday.... I'm gonna teach him how to Ice fish for smelt and coho.

Man that is really rough.... So sorry.
The hardest part of my Bone marrow transplant was watching the sick kids.
Made me feel really guilty to do so well.
My heart is really breaking.......:hugs:hugs:hugs:hugs:hugs:hugs:hugs
