You don't till it..... If your gonna till remove it.
I roll mine up at the end of season. I'm thinking of going with a no till method this year. So I'll keep it down and just start laying wood chips this year...... I'm gonna model it after the Back to Eden method.
Looking for a good used wood chipper now.

Morning...I don't know I'll have to look.
I'm supposed to drive to Marquette for a doctor's appointment.... Then from there to iron Mountian to pick up a fender for my Firebird project..a couple hundred miles round trip... If it's storming that'll make a for a long slow drive.

Any of mine that hatch that color are cockerels , but also it is standing like a cockerel . Got it's head way up . Just guessing though .

We thought for sure the little splash on the left was a cockerel - it walked and held itself so confidently I was positive! Nope. It ended up being a super cute little petite pullet. Strange.

I finally installed that new internet service yesterday..... They said to put the antenna 25 feet up I could only get it about 20 by myself.
But it seems to be working way better than anything we've had so far.
I can now live stream TV..... Never could before.
And its unlimited....... And because I'm a veteran it's only $24 dollars a month.
The other service we have is $120 and doesn't work for chit.
I'm under contract to keep it for a while..... But I'm gonna down grade it to the lowest possible plan I can.

Good morning everyone!!! It’s a beautiful day here in the Midwest! I have a lot of things I want to do outside today.

Part of me has a dimmer view on the day. I was planning on going to my 8yr old cousins funeral today. She had an immune disease where her artery to her lungs were under really high pressure. She got a regular cold the other day which aggravated things. Her Mom was headed to Colorado to her specialist when she had a seizure and ruptured the artery. It makes me so sick when little babies are taken too early. But my son was brought back to me in the middle of the night sick. So now I can’t go. I am heartbroken for them. I guess I get to snuggle my children a little extra tight today and pray for them from a distance.

Oh Jana - I'm so sorry to hear this. Snuggling your sweet one extra close in honor of your cousin's life is a beautiful tribute.

Full day (I'm not quite sure why I feel the need to post my to do list here, but maybe i need accountability to get 'er done!)
1. As always: chicken chores
2. Run
3. Process 6 cockerels
4. Get music all together for church
7. Move the broodies to better accomodations
Whew. Better get crackin'
