Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Had to take the puppers back to the vet yesterday (poor pup) and we hit white out snow squalls all the way there and back! :barnie
Sun and cold today and then I think you and I both get the snow coming in Sunday night and again on Tuesday. :th
It's never ending this year.
But you know..... There are years like that.

I think the same of all the folks that live in tornado alley or the miserable humid heat of Florida. At least you can hide under blankie in front of a warm fire when the weather goes to crap up here. As for driving in the stuff, when it's bad, not unusual to be the only car for a mile or more which makes it a lot easier (and safer).
Yeah we don't get tornadoes..... Or anything big like that at all...... Just snow and cold.
And seriously driving in the snow is just something you learn how to do.
And generally it's no real big deal..... Generally....

Been busy so too far behind to totally catch up again so I will just say a huge THANK YOU to everyone for the prayers and good wishes on my onc roadtrip (still in remission, :wee) and good thoughts for my pupper. Not as good a result for her. They had to go ahead and debraid (sp?) her cornea and so I have two different antibiotic eye drops that have to be alternated every two hours and an anti-inflammatory to help with the pain. Have to keep up this routine until next Friday so I'm grounded for the week. :fl:fl:fl If this doesn't work then it's a more radical procedure that will require her eye to be sewn shut until it heals.
:hugs

Ravyn! How are you? Your birds? Lol, fair enough! No humidity pump! It’s been a real itch, shall we say? Ameraucana eggs, FINALLY, and just in the nick of time. Lost my beautiful Splash, and my best black hen. Still have Eve, blue wheaten, Brandy, wheaten, two blues, and one black gen

Me? Hatching like a mad woman :gig
Sorry for your losses. How are you liking the Brinsea? Other than humidity issues...

I’m having to keep my fertile eggs in a cooler, adding ice to a shallow bowl to keep them below 60 with some humidity. I’m setting however many more I get by next Tuesday in my second bator. They hold 28 eggs with only 12 going in.

second?? :clap

Ditto. No one up here has central air unless they live in one of the few huge houses in town. I do admit tho, we had a really unusual summer last year and there were a couple days when we needed more than just the windows open. We actually hit 90o!!! yuck! Had to teach the DH how to build a swamp cooler. I guess having southern roots still comes in handy.
I think it hardly got over 75 here all summer.
We actually had out hottest days later in the fall.

Ok
Geeze, I'm so tired. :caf I'm like a walking typo today.

We took DD2 to a 'family fun center' for her bday yesterday. Check out the sign over the womans bathroom. (*note: Mens bathroom sign didn't come with a warning.)

Ok, questions;
#1 Have you ever seen a sign like this?
#2 What does this even mean?
#3 Would you let your DD pee in a room with a warning?
#4 Why isn't the mens room posted as potentially dangerous?
#5 Should women pee in the mens room instead? Or maybe outside in the parking lot?
#6 If woman do start peeing in the mens room, will the mens room need a sign?

Seriously, this is just weird, even for CA standards.:old
That's just freaking weird.....I don't even know how to respond too that.
