It does But of the respiratory diseases, it's pretty much the 'best' one you can get. The rest never ever go away and you HAVE to cull to be rid of them.

Good! Berrigan (the male emu) is very mellow, but doesn't want to be picked up any more. The female loves to snuggle and is strongly imprinted on me. She also has a need to bite everything

Caesar, the gosling, is getting huge. The chicks are all growing out well; I'm taking some of the culls to a swap tomorrow to see what I can sell. And I have one duck egg that's internally pipped and due tomorrow.

I have brahma eggs incubating that are doing well, along with some EE and OE eggs, and golden pheasant eggs. There's also a box of Call eggs on its way to me

That's fantastic... I'm glad they're all doing good. Will she grow out of the bitting?

Remember my pullet with the frostbitten foot/leg? I noticed it had broken off a couple week ago. Well I found it in the shavings today. She seems to be doing fine.

I thought it was actually pretty neat that I found it down in the shavings, in one piece! I guess it just snapped off. Probably scared the hell out of the poor girl..

I complain about getting
But today my body is really screaming at me. I haven't done "manual" labor in a while, and I think every muscle is sore. Got quite a bit done on my coop addition, until the dark clouds started threatening rain, and the cold front moved in....quickly!
Hope tomorrow is decent.
