I am so happy we didn't end up with just 1.... 2 is good.

I only have 1 other goat pregnant this year... she is due in a couple more weeks... it will be her first time though. .... So a bit more stressful for me.

Thanks yall! She is being great for her first time. She is the one I moved from the group, and gave several of the eggs to, she hatched 3, the rest looked a little behind, so I gave them back to the bunch. They hatched 2 more, and one is missing today. Can't fine a body or any sign of it. Other momma has her 3, but the trio of girls only has 1 now. How does a chick just disappear? I scraped around in the deep litter some, but to no avail.

Well the OE chick is doing okay. I fed it scrambled egg last night and it gulped it all down. The splayed legs were looking a little better, so I took it out of the splint and added it and the duckling to the brooder. Hopefully it does okay.
