deb very tired in San Diego.... Latest stressor is home care giver for grandma... a good stress but new stuff kind of drives us all a bo=it crazy
I'm with you on the "new stuff makes us crazy" part... And finding good home care is really more of a mineral expedition - you've got to sift through a lot of rocks before you find the gold (who am I kidding, you sift through so many rocks you are overjoyed to settle with some tin).

Omg, I was moving my juvie duck pen. Had just a couple pieces of netting to finish. Needless to say, I was soaked to the bone. But at least it was still warm, and my ducks are safe.

That dinner sounds perfectly stupendous! :drool
Hubby is gone, I had 2 corn dogs. :p

Happy in their bigger pool.

Do ya need the Emotional Support Honey Badger? :D
There's an echo in here.
The worst of the rain appears to be over, but it was a humdinger of a storm. Bushes beat over from the force of the rain, a good portion of the gravel lane not where it was this time yesterday, flash flood warning still up for another 3 hours. Water falling so fast & running so much that some, not much, was running across the floor when we got home; no biggie, really, not when we've seen it an inch deep before At least all the birds seem to have survived, & there are no boats floating around, so I guess it could be worse. DW don't want me up on a ladder, but someone has to get up to the end of the clogged gutter, & I haven't noticed her jumping into the volunteer line. It's only 8-10' off the ground at that point.
Yuck.... im glad all is ok there.:love
Be careful if ya head up that ladder today..:fl
Good morning, pond!
Looks to be one of those beautiful, then stormy, then beautiful again type of days!
Stay dry out there!
@kwhites634 - glad you didn't float away! Crazy!!
Kinda looking like that here too... at the moment it seems to be unable to decide if the sun wants to shine or if its gonna hide behind rain clouds...

Good morning Pond...:frow

All done...drain open. You know ladders aren't real steady in freshly mulched flower beds w/o some creative blocking under the bottom? You know it took longer to make the ladder steady than it did to climb up, open the drain, & come back down?

Glad ya got it done and no injuries!
I do know, and if theres a lot of wet, soggy mulch i have no doubt it took longer to steady the ladder than clean the drain... just happy ya took the time to steady it!
