Not liking that! It sucks. I have a quail that needs culling because it got stuck under the hardware cloth in the bator and half smooshed trying to get it out. It just goes on and on.

Okay... SFH photos again.
They just fascinate me as they begin to really feather out.

There's this peach color that is beginning to emerge on those two. And then this next one has partridge-like patterns coming in.

And dalmatian boy

I've been hunting around for color names for them... somewhat confusing.

Glad ya got it done and no injuries!
I do know, and if theres a lot of wet, soggy mulch i have no doubt it took longer to steady the ladder than clean the drain... just happy ya took the time to steady it!

Had no choice. Soon as I put any weight on it it sank. Wish I could drive posts that quick.

I framed mine with wood but the quail are so tiny it squeezed under. I am going to put in a tray if i hatch quail eggs again in there.

Gas-powered auger easier yet, 'til you hit a big root or big rock.
