Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

My biggest issue now with the ducks is wondering where the females will lay their eggs. Juice momma has started laying again, now that the babies are growing up, and those females will probably not start until next spring, but I'm thinking I will take her "shelter" box from home when I move them. Maybe she will recognize it and lay in it.

Took this one just a few days ago

Stupid mobile inserted the pic on top and won't let me move it. :/

That is soooo gorgeous... maybe keep an eye out for some of those large kennels/carriers that the doors broke off of... people tend to trash those... set a few around the pond and maybe they'll use those... might make for less egg hunts...

Good idea.

After something got in the comet coop and killed one of the young ones, my eggs have drastically dropped off. Found a nest next to a pile of lumber today, 16 eggs. Apparently one or two girls are still laying in the coop, the others found another spot. :D

spent the whole day together and only wanted to throw her out the van a couple of times. That's pretty good for me .Still haven't figured out how I drive down the road without her telling me how to drive when she ain't there

We drove up to Kentucky's rough river country looking at used hay baler parts and had a really good day . A nice lunch and a traffic jammed ride home . Not sure about them folks up there though parts man said the part I needed was in real good shape and was worse than the one I have .so I guess mine is in mint condition

any how getting ready to set eggs and maybe sleep some tonight since I didn't last night . Already candled for cracks or holes and put today's date on all of them . SO I'm gonna go pop these eggs in the easy bake now .

If they're still laying then, I can do that! :gig

The only good thing about that idea is they are so cute and loveable, she wouldn't be able to ream you for it after she lays eyes on them! :gig

Yep, she loves babies so I know that's the best way to sneak them in the house! I think WV should open a bed and breakfast at her camp!
