Ugh! I'm sorry! That's horrible! We've had that happen to the neighbors birds a couple times when they were out of town. We couldn't get into their yard & all we could do was assault it with a high powered flashlight & rocks.

And my god if that was a rant your just to dam nice Net is messed up and working against . I miss spending time on the pond. Life is just busyNet is just not enough I will say should you all look back, and think if today is my last day. There is no tomorrow was my life good mostly or bad mostly . I believe after all we have shared with one another ,even with the hardships that life throws our way . Life has been awesome . I wouldn't trade my life with anyone . Hardships only make you realize how strong you truly are . So tomorrow give thanks for the many great things god has given us . They are there in abundance nuf said

Well, serendipitously, we are hosting two of our favorite friend families tomorrow for Thanksgiving! We were just talking and realized we were all minus some loved ones (away, not dead), and just planning "something simple" for dinner. Well, now we'll be together, and that should be very fun!

Unsalted Kerry Gold is my favorite. Its the one in the silver wrapper. Telling DH to buy Kerry Gold in silver is like speaking him in a foreign language. We have to talk it out in simple voices. "Its called Gold... but it looks silver … Understand???"

Today was a good day to hit the grocery store. The lines weren't too long & people were still being nice. I forgot milk, but I think I'll wait till just before close to miss the after work crowd.

I am going more informal this year and doing paper plates! Borrowed my moms crock pot so I can use mine for the ham and hers for mashed taters. It will be served buffet style. Fill yer plate and find a place to sit if ya can.

We do buffet at moms and Mil.. too many people to do otherwise..

doing stuffin in the crock pot.... Very small turk... ten pounder. Deviled eggs homemade cranberry sauce... Candied yams..... Pork and beans, Maybe. a few veggies and things... Oh and mashed potatoes. and gravy... There are only four of us...

enough for left overs for a few days.

Brrrrr....I came home from hunting last night.
Not feeling well at all.
Fell asleep in my chair...... just now waking up.
Guess I needed the sleep..... but I was freezing the whole time. Got so chilled I couldn't warm up.
Better now.
I did run into another hunter...... first time in like forever. And I wasn't wearing hunters orange. Oh well.
Probably be many years again before I run into another hunter. I digress.....I did t have an orange hat on.

Sounds great....we aren't doing anything for Thanksgiving. But that's okay.
Actually is not.... but I'm not letting the rest of the family know I'm upset.
Sometimes I just hate my life.

I have to get ready to go.
Have too....i drive to iron mountain for an 8 a.m. dr. Appointment.
I have to leave here at 7 our time too....i make it there by 8 their time. Hopefully I don't hit a deer on the way..... its deer alley that way.

You could switch to roaches and mice in the winter season.

He got standby, eventhough the flight was delayed more than 30 min... still got him to home by 7:40am.. in time for us run next door for church at 8.
