Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Oh dear.. could you pull the chicks and brood them in a brooder? Or is it more of a let nature take its course thing?
I don't really do brooders. Mum keeps them warm and safe. I don't let them sit when winter is coming. Mum does the integration and often shares the protection with the father.
I just get in the way.:lau
For the baby killers, I just don't let them sit any more.

Dang freaking snowing again..... Hope it doesn't about to too much.... Don't really want to plow today.
So those two like call ducks of mine.... Yeah the ones I paid extra to get Drakes.
Both laid their first eggs yesterday......:gig
I knew a few days after I got them.... And one of them quacked that the hippie chick I bought them from was full of it.
But it all worked out..... They are great little ducks.

You'll fit in just fine here with the rest of us...:lau:gig:gig

Dang Phil.. Wish I could give you some drakes!!

Looks like it quit snowing.... Great. I really didn't want to plow today.
Not that plowing is such a big deal.
Truck works good and is comfortable.
Has all the creature comforts...... Radio.... Heat... Plush seats.
It's just a big ......."time suck"
And by the time I'm done first leave much time before dark to do much.

The older I get ... the thing that bugs me the most is the getting stuck in ditches that I can't get back out of.
