Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

AL shall remain of both and of neither of the nether region options... and I Went to the gym and learned about a few machines in order to get started, came home and introduced myself to a neighbor I hadn't met before, she was, well a hateful old biddy, I guess I shouldn't say that, because I would be disrespecting hateful old biddies... but life goes on, good night folks...

Oh this breaks my heart! :hit I hope you catch that horrid beast! :rant
I think I figured a way to catch it. I always run into the difficulty of my dogs thinking the bait in the trap is for them. So, I will put it outside the fence line and lock the cat indoors (he also thinks bait is for him) tonight.

Just wow. Metal in the eyes and coons in the coops! :hugs

Those looking for rain,,,,,,,PLZ take ours!!!! :hit:hit:hit:hit:hit:hit:hit:hit:hit:hit:hit
Days and days of nothing but rain with the occasional break of just cloudy and dreary with no dry day expected (or hoped for) until maybe Saturday. Oh, and we should most likely frost at night until then. We've already broken the rain record for the year, whoopee. Worst of all is there will be no fall color this year. The rain and wind is taking all the leaves down as soon as they turn. :rant
Oh well, the blessing for us anyway, is that we are well upstream of all the flooding and at least it's not snow, yet.

Us too...

We have a bit right now... but all of the fireweed that turned bright red almost immediately went to brown... the trees turning yellow early.... almost all of their leave fell...

We too have had blasting wind, lots of cold wind, and that f thing some mornings.

Well, it was kind of a terrible day. I woke up to and a raccoon attack that got my Broody mama and four of her babies. They destroyed my Broody coop. I put the three surviving babies with another broody, hoping she would take to them, but she didn't. So, I fixed the the coop back up again as best I could and put the babies in a dog carrier inside of it hoping they can stay warm enough tonight. They did a lot of crying and huddled under my hand when it got dark. But I think they're going to be okay.

:hit

Super sad for you!
