How many different kinds do you now have?

All the same kind. Classic Frills. I have a few different colors. They have hatched 24 babies between 4 pairs and 1 threesome, just in 2020! Lost 8 that failed to thrive, didn’t get fed enough by the parents (which isn’t uncommon!). One of my pairs hatched 4 separate times this year! And it’s still only the end of August. I’ll be replacing any new eggs with fake ones from now on though.

Nah, chances of finding a fancy colored male around here are nil. I might try my luck at some hatching eggs this year though, see if I get lucky again and hatch more blondes.

Oh wow! So, 11 adults = 24 babies... veey impressive

Perpetually amazes me how great they look as adults... when the babies... uh....

I remember those from when I was a kid. Scared the pee outta me. Probably why I never went on a cruise. Funny that small boats don’t scare me, but the big ships do.
