Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

I saw them just past the field, road & train tracks. They say you never forget how to ride a bike, but from where I’m standing it looks like they’re undertaking a hard refresher course.

That is definitely school!

Think of how many adults can't even use a hammer!

You are teaching your kids extremely important and useful skills.

Also, helping them learn to he frugal. Because think... if you had hired someone to build that quailico... that would have been what? 2k in labor??

I 100% agree.

My sneaky little manipulators are working on 2wks off. Last week DH was off all week & we agreed to let them off too so they could help with the quailio.

This week is spring break at the college & they feel that since big sis is off, this should be their spring break too to do fun stuff. DD3 has a list (biking, hiking, beach....) that has me tired just looking at it.

DH & kids 2 & 3 are leaving right now to bike on a cement bike path they’ve never been on before. They haven’t been on bikes since the summer pre covid. Between that & us living in a pretty bad neighborhood, I’m having a mommy bird anxiety attack.

I’m looking forward to this week being over

Fear not - Rambo man is there. :yesss:

I backed up to where I started, parked it, & called a tow truck Monday morning.
I am very glad you didn't take the more exciting route of driving off and then crashing.

Whew!

:hugs

The brakes on one of our cars are sounding bad... and I am pretty sure I have waited too long to bring it in.... so... I am pretty sure that the bill will be huge.

I am scheduled to take it in tomorrow morning.

Snow/ hailing today... so yes, sure sign of spring.

;)

Also... I had to drive into town, and the road was almost completely snow free!!!!!

Driving back up the hill someone was following me... it was funny...

I was driving all over the road, first in our lane, then completely in the oncoming traffic lane... then in the middle of the road... swinging first this way and then that....

Little 2 lane road.

I couldn't understand why the person behind me didn't follow my lead. :idunno

They would wiggle back and forth a bit, but never more than two feet out of our lane.

Couldn't understand if they are one of those people that "must follow the rules no matter what" or they just don't care if their car runs directly through the middle of six inch deep potholes.
