What do you think of the big announcement at the top of the page? Given today’s date, I’m suspicious.

I’m glad it’s Friday. My student has been out all week, so I’ve been bouncing around subbing all week after my Monday reset. I’m feeling a bit discombobulated. Hopefully we can get back to normal (such as that is) next week.

My m-i-l has had many strokes. She didn’t remember that my husband had run off, and doesn’t remember why. Know what else she didn’t remember? That the woman he’s living with isn’t his wife! So, naturally she told me all about how much she hates her, still thinking it’s his newest wife.
That is all the drama I’ll bug you with. With no friends or family anymore, I had to let that out.

Afternoon Pond!

Puppy raising is taking it out of me, lol. This is the first dog I've had that's actually been mine, not a family dog, so this is the first time I've really done the puppy thing. But we're doing okay! We have learned the visual cue for 'sit' and now we're working on adding the verbal cue. Potty training is going meh, but we are making it through the night with no accidents, so that's good. Crate training is going okay.
