And as far as washer and dryers we had to replace the washer a few years ago, FYI those HE washers are bull tickey
And don't use the wrong GD soap!!!

But we replaced our 70s dryer a few months ago and our electric bill dropped very significantly

There was a fairly new front-load HE set in our house when we bought it 4 years ago. I hate that thing.

Hate that I got the cheapest Maytag there is been running for ten years at least. The last one lasted twenty tub rusted through and DW cried changed the kids diapers on the washer . Dryer is 28 years old and I've fixed it three times this and that . You priced washing machines lately?

I swear I go through washers like underwear.... I've lived in this house for 19th and I've gone through .....at least 5 washers...... When the boys were home i could see it..... We did 3 or 4 loads a day.... But now we just do one a day... 2 at the most.

I must be weird - I really like mine and love that is uses less water and really small amounts of soap.

I have a private well and don't pay for water, we fought ours for months and bubbling over and flooding the basement

 Coffee makers I go through two a year or more Cheapest mr. coffee they make .Hard water :/    Yea he do like his car don't he  Nothing the smell of chicken chit in a nice car .   I gotta go check water and see if mr. coffee has warmed the brooder enough to transfer chicks  

We use a thermos style coffee maker.... Never really go through them.
