Ugh! It's that time of year again... tighten up defenses, everyone... :/Morning everyone. Went out to let a group of birds out and had a haybale attack. Never seen one swoop into my yard before. Hubs came out with the pitchfork cause I didn't have one handy, but no go. Birds were terrified, but all took cover and I got them all back into safety. :/
I did, need more though. We used to sit with the parents of the kid that overdosed while our boys played high school football. Really good folks. Can't imagine the pain and grief they're experiencing. Drought is a constant plague in Kenya it seems. We've supported Christian groups who dig wells in rural areas there. Praying for rain for Kenya.
Same to you...Thanks alot, Oz
Oh, no!!! So glad she's ok!!
I always got the duty of pumping the brakes.
Dang Walnut, that looks scary! Glad she's ok.
Glad you got your broody separated. Hope she has a great hatch. Sounds like it will be soon.Been busy. I see I missed a lot. WH - glad your daughter was ok, sorry about the car.oz- sorry to hear about everything in you community.
So- How do you get algee out of a water tanK? I missed the vital info.
We went down for to see the kids at school. Friday was my son's 18th birthday. Time goes by too fast. Vet is coming tomorrow to do a herd check so I will be able to send of DNA cards on the babies this week. I got a barricaid set up around my broody girl as I candled Friday night and the eggs were looking pretty full so not sure when I will see/hear peepers but should be quite soon. She was missing 13 days (when I noticed she was gone) and the last time I know I saw her was about 27 days ago so -
but the eggs tell me she is getting close to hatch. Can't see much of anything other than air cell, a few veins and darkness. Got pretty cold last night. Might have to break down and turn the heat on, at least lighting the fireplace when we settle in for the evening.
