The brown one and the white with black are both turkey poults.
Since I haven't been giving a set amount of food I haven't been doing the weight gain stuff. I feed them twice a day, I take a scoop (not sure on exact amount) of feed and sprinkle it around and they go crazy.![]()
They're bigger than the poults!?!?!? Are you going to do the weight gain stuff?

I never raised poults but I hear they're quite amusing. I loved the CX's. Some of the sweetest birds, in the yard and on the plate.
We've got our own crosses in the bator now. I kept three hens to get eggs from but all but one died before POL. Their heart and lungs can't keep up with the weight gain unless you isolate them and restrict their food.
What did you cross them with? I'll be anxious to see those!
