Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

The lady at Verizon said she was so glad windows phones were gone..... Mostly because they didn't have a lot of good apps.... If it's for photos just go to Walmart you can get a64GB card for about 25 bucks that should have you more than covered.
Most are WMA..... But even a WMA player wouldn't recognize my files. They would all show that there was 19 GB of audio files but they were otherwise invisible. The one good thing is I had over 500 songs in a cloud from years ago that I had lost.... Suddenly they came back out if the ether....

That's what I need to learn how to use cloud storage and One drive....I don't know how and that's why I couldn't ever find those old songs before.

My phone has 30GB on-board, and I've used 27 of that in 7 months

(after deleting tons the last few days, trying to get it down) And from what I've read, certain cards won't work in this phone, it has to be one of the high-density, hi-speed ones, or some such nonsense. I pay a couple bucks a month for 50GB on OneDrive, but it works so easily from phone to computer, its worth it. Easier than any of the other cloud storage things I've tried. I'll probably just have to upgrade to 100gig.

I did teach hubby how to use OneDrive with his iphone, and I bet it works with Droids too. Check it out. Even though their phones are less popular, I feel sure Microsoft will be around for a while longer. lol

what kind of phone? wma files wont be recognized by many/most music players except windows media player
and are you using itunes to upload or windows media player?

you may have to go into your media and highlight them all tight click and click convert to .mp3 or some other type of file
takes a long time
but my point is I can't.... They are invisible even to file manger..... And whatever files they are Google play on both my other phones
does
reconize and play them.
If you go to the file manager it said no files found..... But if you go to the pie chart overveiw it shows 19 GB of audio files. I even downloaded two different file convertors they could see them either. Also this all started when I was setting up the phone and it made me reformat the SD card.... Now I'm getting a headache :)
I guess now that I actually found an app it doesn't matter. The biggest issue I suppose was I had so much time into putting all that music onto the card in the first place.
But if I have anymore issues I'll ask here.... Obviously there are people here more knowledgeable than me.

So you found something that works??

I was thinking about an old cheapie ($39) droid "tablet" that I have. I really only used it as a picture viewer for my deer camera card, because it was easy to carry out in the woods and check the card from there. But it did play music files too. You could consider something other than your phone for your music?
