Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

I guess there's a lesson - when something "revolutionary" comes out, buy one, keep it boxed and make a killing, 30 years later (when you probably forgot that you have the darn thing :lau  )

Like Barbies! Outrageous!

My wife inherited her grandmothers Bernina. Seems like a solid machine!

They are awesome. Expensive, but my mother quilted all her life. Once she retired, that was about all she did, so why not invest in a good one. We talked her into buying her first Bernina, she loved it so much, she traded it in on the one I have now a few years later. Got almost all she paid for the first one back on trade-in.

Seriously I probably only make a couple calls a month and I absolutely don't like talking on the phones.
But I use my phone to get news.... Listen to music..... Text... . Email... Listen to radio stations... Pretty much everything but make phone calls.
I even have an app that is a fishing GPS.... Complete with deep charts speedometer.... Fish marker......

I pretty much just listen to the radio in the truck, CMT or YouTube on the TV, and Pandora on the computer. :/

That's awesome! My wife is finding that she really enjoys quilting, and her entry level singer was just about dead so it was nice that she inherited her grandma's.

Quality prevails, and its always a great pleasure using top stuff. Got me some expensive kitchen knives - they will last me literally forever and I love 'em, so they are worth every penny.

Who has the raft? I wanna float around & nap.

Of all the people here, you really should be the one with the raft, after all your rain! I wouldn't want to be mean - you can take mine - it's next to the bar, the one called Noah
