I guess there's a lesson - when something "revolutionary" comes out, buy one, keep it boxed and make a killing, 30 years later (when you probably forgot that you have the darn thing)

My wife inherited her grandmothers Bernina. Seems like a solid machine!
They are awesome. Expensive, but my mother quilted all her life. Once she retired, that was about all she did, so why not invest in a good one. We talked her into buying her first Bernina, she loved it so much, she traded it in on the one I have now a few years later. Got almost all she paid for the first one back on trade-in.
