Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Dropped out of site yesterday didn't I.

I liked him better in the Quick and the Dead . Both were Louis La`mour books . He was also great it the Sackett's and pretty good in the Shadow Riders . I'm a fan of both . Go figure :lau I have quite a few of those movies . No cable so I search the $5 bins at walmart constantly. Yes even today just got home from a grocery trip.:th:frow
My mom's boyfriend is in that movie.... he had s bit part... he was Sam Rameys uncle... my mom got to hang around with Sharon Stone.... while the movie was being made.
She also got to meet Bruce Campbell.... from Evil Dead.... he was in the Army of Darkness
And she got to meet the cast of Zena....Sal (her old boyfriend ) died years ago now.

Ok, that crayon kinda knocked me flat, lol...

Be careful, I think I still habe a knot on my head from that one! :lau

You also missed the python and the beavers. Has the python been seen recently ? He may have gone back to New England for the summer. Thought the beavers would have returned to the Pond.

had some communication with the python not too long ago. all is well.

Looks like the ponds getting sludged again. This is why we can't have nice things!

 you no like sluge-covered nice things??

Sludge is my friend. Haven't you read "Islands in the Muck"?

:pop

long day.....i was trying tu catch up but you guys really yacked a bunch today.... did anything important happen?
Besides the nasty goat talk that prompted me too skip ahead

I actually considered skipping what i missed this past weekend, but just couldn't. I've read all 63,572 posts. :)

Went out to lock up my miscellaneous 8-week olds, and got this adorable pic. Blue Marans pullet, black copper Marans cockerel, serama in the middle! Same age, the little serama thinks the BCM is his dad! Follows him like a shadow.

I just got in from taking care of the birds and found that the keets had attacked the chick that was in with them. It's a nasty wound, the beak has been severely damaged. I've cleaned it up and applied neosporin and tucked it into the incubator with the chick that just hatched today who seems to be enjoying the company.

I'm just not sure if this is something the chick can recover from. I'm fine with making its food a mash, hand feeding it a couple times a day, etc but I don't want to prolong its suffering if it's not going to make it. It seems to be fighting for now, I guess I'll just see how it does and if it seems like it's too much I'll end its suffering.

Yeesh, not a good day today. My parents are also dead set on rehoming the pig. They don't think she's happy here.

So sorry things haven't gone well today. Fingers crossed for a better tomorrow. ;)

Good looking dogs!
Mom, Riley. Dad, Leo, and Aslan.
The pick of mom is after her last litter so she's a bit on the thin side.View attachment 1057278 View attachment 1057279
Thanks! They're both three and a half, we have plans on breeding them at some point in the future but as of right now we have no females and doesn't look like we'll be getting one anytime soon.

She's really pretty! He's giant and Aslan is absolutely gorgeous!
